QR code photo sharing for events

One scan. A way into the event’s photos.

Give guests a QR code or link to your PhotoBet gallery. They open it in their browser, follow the event’s access steps and find the photos you make available.

Free: 1 active event · 50 photos · 1 GB.
No card required. Compare plan limits

A link people can take with them

The QR gets them there.
The gallery does the rest.

A QR code points to a destination. In PhotoBet, that destination is the event gallery: the collection you uploaded, the access steps you selected and the downloads you allow.

Guests do not need to install an app or create a photographer account for the standard shared-gallery flow. They may still need an event access code. Selfie search can help them narrow the collection to matching photos.

Prepare once. Test before sharing.

Set up a useful way in.

01

Prepare the collection

Create the event, upload the finished photographs and check processing. Review who should have access and whether downloads are free or paid originals.

02

Copy the link or get the QR

Use the event’s sharing controls. Send the link through your usual client communication, or place the downloaded QR on an event card with a clear instruction.

03

Try it as a guest

Open it on another phone. Complete any access steps, find a known photo and test an allowed download. Keep a written link available for anyone who cannot scan.

Sharing photos and collecting photos are different.

Your QR can help guests reach the photographs you deliver. If you also enable guest uploads, explain where contributions go and who can see them. Contributions count toward the account’s applicable limits.

Do not label a delivery-only gallery “Upload your photos.” Use instructions that match the action you want guests to take.

A QR code is not an access guarantee.

Anyone who receives or photographs the code may try to open its link. Choose appropriate gallery access settings and distribute it only to the intended audience.

The gallery still needs to be available, and a connection is required. Printing a QR does not promise permanent hosting. Read the paid-period and availability notes.

Start with a small collection

Try the handover before your next event.

Create a small gallery with photos you have permission to share. Open it on a second device and check the guest experience before choosing a paid plan.
