Photo and storage allowances are shared across your account, including retained work. They do not reset on renewal. Free downloads and optional paid originals follow each event’s settings.
Three limits to check before you choose.
Active events are the events you can keep active at the same time. They are not credits for a fresh set of events every month.
Stored photos are counted across your account, including photos retained from previous events. Renewal does not add another batch of photo credits.
Storage is the total space your account can use. A photo-count allowance does not mean every photo can be the maximum file size: you must fit both limits.
If you already store 2,500 photos on Photographer, its 3,000-photo allowance leaves room for up to 500 more, provided you also have enough storage and active-event capacity.
What every paid period means.
- Your first paid period begins when payment is confirmed.
- Renewing the same plan before it ends extends its end date. Renewing after it ends starts a new period from confirmed payment.
- Changing plans starts a new paid period without prorated credit for unused time.
- Renewal is manual. PhotoBet does not automatically charge you for another period.
- When the paid period ends, Free limits apply. The current expiry process does not automatically delete existing files.
Keep your own copies. Confirm gallery availability and retention arrangements with PhotoBet before promising a hosting period to your client.
Free delivery or optional paid originals.
You can offer free gallery downloads or enable paid original photos for an event. Your delivery plan covers account capacity; a guest’s photo purchase is separate. Free downloads carry no sales commission. Optional paid sales use the applicable commission rate shown for your account.
What’s outside these plans?
Video uploads, image and design editors, Google Drive import, document transfers and photo-store selling are not included. FTP import access requires event setup and a checked camera workflow.

your next photo delivery.
Do guests need an app or a photographer account?
No app installation or photographer account is required for the standard shared-gallery flow. Guests open the event link in a browser and follow its access steps. A separate guest-contribution flow may ask for a name.
Do guests have to buy their photos?
Photographers can offer free downloads or enable paid original photos for an event. In a paid gallery, browsing and selfie search are free; the gallery shows the per-photo price before checkout. The photographer’s delivery plan is separate from a guest’s photo purchase.
Will a selfie find every photo?
It may not. Results depend on the photographs, the selfie and completed processing. Try a clear, well-lit selfie, or ask the photographer for help. A match is a search result, not identity verification or exclusive access to an image.
Is Free a timed trial?
No. Free is a limited plan with 1 active event, 50 stored photos and 1 GB. No card is required. It is suitable for evaluating a small gallery, not for promising permanent hosting.
